In this week’s edition of The Reverse Cowgirl roundup: Barbie eats Ken, an OnlyFans model gets savage, Sydney Sweeney wants to share her bathwater, a photographer shoots Japanese love hotels, Michael Fassbender talks fisting gloves, and more.

1. The arresting photograph featured at the top of this newsletter is by photographer Jamie Colette, and the model is Mars. “Through my work, I aim to empower women, challenge traditional beauty standards, push boundaries, and continually better myself,” Colette says of her art. 2. In Ohio, Coast Guard veteran and OnlyFans model Chelsea Perkins, 35, pleaded guilty to the second-degree murder of a man she claimed raped her. According to the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Northern District of Ohio, the Alexandria, Virginia woman drove to Ohio, where she met Matthew Dunmire, 31, whom she knew previously, in 2021. While hiking off-trail, Perkins shot Dunmire in the back of the head, killing him. Her OnlyFans name was Selena Savage. She’s due to be sentenced in September and is looking at doing 20 to 25 years.

4. Actress Sydney Sweeney is hawking her bathwater. The vehicle is a bar soap called Bliss that was created as a collab with Dr. Squatch. The limited-edition bricc is “infused with her actual bathwater” and smells like “Pine, Douglas Fir, Earthy Moss.” Only 5,000 were available, and now there are none.

5. I guess this is old, but the EIZO X-ray pinup calendar is awesome.

6. Recently, I picked up a copy of Love Hotel, a photo book by French photographer François Prost featuring “the facades of Japanese Love Hotels, taken in 2023 during a road trip between Tokyo and Shikoku Island.” He did a similar photo series that’s available in book form focusing on the fronts of American strip clubs, adult stores, and dance halls: Gentlemen’s Club.

7. My artist buddy Coop sent me a video of actor Michael Fassbender discussing the ultra-thin black gloves he wears in the David Fincher directed 2023 movie The Killer. “We found fisting gloves were the best for that,” he offers. What’s the brand? He doesn’t say, but these are cool.

8. The talented Megan Thee Stallion strutted the runway at her swimwear show.

9. Robo-dong: “The TV news anchor-turned-porn star has a three-piece inflatable penile prosthesis (IPP) which consists of a pump in his scrotum connected to an implanted reservoir in his abdomen. This then sends saline to twin cylinders in his penis, resulting in a quick erection ‘hard enough to cut steel.’”

The Financial Times reads Anastasiia Fedorova’s Second Skin: Inside the Worlds of Fetish, Kink and Deviant Desire, calling it “a thoughtful and thought-provoking treatise that articulates the uncharted experience of female fetishism and destigmatises fetish by bringing it out of the dungeon and into the light.”
